Okay, so most of you have seen the kitchen by now, but for those that have not, here's a quick overview.
This is what it looked like when we moved in:
In April 2009, we packed up everything, set up a temporary kitchen in the basement, and went to work ripping out the old kitchen. Yay!
In addition to the kitchen, we also tackled the sunroom/breezeway, which connects the house and the garage. At the time, it was wasted space, so we thought it would be a perfect place for a mudroom and a dining room. Our existing dining room was on the other side of the house, and connected to the master bedroom...just didn't make much sense.
Our contractor reworked the back of the breezeway roof, installed a new kitchen window, and prepped the three new rooms for the pretty details.
Then, after many many months, and lots of weekends of work, we finally had a complete kitchen!
